EMPLOYEE ADMIN RELATIONS

Kim was first introduced to dentistry as a teenager, when she worked in a dental office for a short period of time. Although she enjoyed it, she spent most of her career as an estimator at  a small printing company in Portland, Oregon.  She made a career change in 2020 to spend more time with family. She was a fast learner and her professionalism and experience in customer service stood out immediately. Kim is married with two children, one still at home and one who plays soccer at Montana State University. Kim was promoted to our Employee Relations Coordinator in Fall of 2022 and she manages benefits, payroll, and helps with employee scheduling for all three locations, but her home base is at Battle Ground.

ASSISTANT MANAGER

Taylor came to work for us in 2019 after she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from University of Idaho. She was introduced to us by our PCC and long term employee, Carly! Taylor’s sister is married to Carly’s brother and sometimes you’ll hear them refer to each other as “sister” around the office or hang up with an “I love you.” Taylor is so much fun to have around, she’s always expressing her free spirit with jokes and light-hearted humor. She’s in charge of a number of responsibilities at the front aside from the usual appointment scheduling and insurance verification. She coordinates team meetings, problem solves, helps with employee scheduling, chart auditing, and event organization. She assists Carly with her management duties at both Camas and Salmon Creek, but her main office is Battle Ground. In her free time she loves to cuddle her cat, Pickles.

PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

We hired Alexis in 2022, but she has been in dental billing since 2019. She graduated with an Associates in Business Management at Lower Columbia College and completed the Dental Assisting program at Elite Dental Assisting Academy. She has always lived in the Pacific Northwest and loves the crisp fall weather. She enjoys paddle boarding, listening to Taylor Swift, and singing karaoke on the weekends. We were immediately impressed with how well she could handle difficult situations and how quickly she became an integral part of our Tooth Docs family!

PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

Jen joined our team in May of 2024 but had 22 years of experience working as an assistant manager at a dental office. Jen comes from the coast but moved to Woodland when she was a teenager. She has been married for 18 years and has two kids, and they love to go hiking and camping. Jen also has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 9 chickens!

EXPANDED FUNCTIONS DENTAL ASSISTANT

Shelby was only the second assistant we ever hired at the Camas location back in 2017 and she truly helped build and shape the practice over years of hard work. Shelby’s positive demeanor and close attention to detail have been a huge asset for the both the Camas and Battle Ground offices and we are so lucky to have her. Shelby completed a restorative program in 2021 at Portland Community College. She lives in Battle Ground and spends her free time enjoying the outdoors with her 2 dogs and her husband, Chris.

EXPANDED FUNCTIONS DENTAL ASSISTANT

Tiffany was hired in the spring of 2021 and her growth at both our company and in the field of dentistry in general since then is so impressive.  We love having her around the office for her funny sense of humor and sweet demeanor. She’s an excellent chairside assistant and became a restorative assistant alongside her coworker, Katie. Tiffany is a hard worker and also works as a CNA, where she feels very passionate about being a caregiver. Tiffany is well loved by all her coworkers at both the Camas and Battle Ground locations as well as all of our patients.

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Hannah joined our team in 2020 after she graduated from University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s in Health and Behavioral Sciences. She wanted to go into Dental Hygiene, but wanted to get her foot in the door in dentistry first. Without any experience, the doctors took a chance on her and were glad they did. She quickly became one of our most requested assistants. Hannah is known for her perfect temporaries, ability to polish any stain off someone’s teeth, and her thorough note-taking. She is also in charge of all of our social media activity and is our SureSmile (clear aligner therapy) coordinator. DENTAL ASSISTANT

Kelsey recently found her way back home again and back to work for Dr. Lenz and Dr. Smith after spending 2 years living in California for her husband’s work. Prior to her time in California, she worked for us at the Camas location back in 2019 and was a patient-favorite. Kelsey is a natural at dental assisting and her enthusiasm and optimism brightens our office every day. She and her husband have one daughter and live close by to the Battle Ground location. She loves espresso and dad jokes of all varieties.

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Lena joined our team in the Spring of 2022 after spending a year outside of dental assisting school working in another private office. Lena attended Cascadia Technical Academy/Clark County Skills Center for dental assisting and graduated in 2021. She is married and is from the Vancouver area. Lena is the second of her family members to work for us and was referred to us by her sister and our former assistant, Ruth! She is fluent in Russian, is a quick learner, and is always keeping busy at the office. We love to have Lena’s sweet and sassy attitude as a part of our team.

LAB TECH & DENTAL ASSISTANT

Mackenzie worked for us back in 2018-2019 and we are so glad to have her back! She has over 10 years of experience in the dental field and is frequently requested by many patients due to her friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge in the field. She has a special job for both offices, which is to coordinate and help run our CEREC machine and patients. Her true passion in the dental world is in the lab and she loves to create crowns, bridges, and other dental prostheses. Mackenzie loves to spend time camping and enjoying her family at home. She is so much fun to be around and her precise skills are an asset to both of our teams!

DENTAL ASSISTANT

Kameryn joined the Salmon Creek team in November 2024 and quickly learned how to become a hard working dental assistant. She grew up in the Vancouver area but now resides in Woodland. She loves thrifting and shopping and spending her free time with her family, fiancé, and their 2 year old blue heeler named bandit!
