Our Doctors
Dr. Smith
Dr. Smith is a native of the Pacific Northwest. He received his training from University of Pacific School of Dentistry where he graduated in 2009. He is proficient in general dentistry, oral surgery, implant placement and restorations, orthodontics, and root canal therapy. He is married and has 4 children. He plays guitar in a local cover band called The Playlist and runs a dental themed podcast called Drilled and a non-profit Foundation called Halo that focuses on giving thousands of dollars in free treatment to people in extreme need.
Dr. Martens
We are excited to introduce Dr. Jeremy Martens, who we recently added to our team in 2022. He was raised in Santa Rosa, California. Dr. Martens decided to move to the Pacific Northwest to attend OHSU School of Dentistry where he was recognized by classmates for going the extra mile to be helpful and excel in his field. He enjoys practicing all areas of general dentistry and staying up-to-date with the most modern approaches to comprehensive treatment planning. Dr. Martens is recently married and a father to a rescued cattle-dog mix. When he’s not in the office, he is working on personal training and achieving fitness goals. He also likes to read in his spare time.

Multi Office Manager
Carly's dental career began in 2017 when she worked as a dental assistant intern for Dr. Lenz. She excelled as an assistant and quickly became a stand-out employee. Her organization and ability to problem-solve was recognized and when a position opened at the front office, the doctors knew she’d be a great fit. Carly quickly became the show-runner and has done nothing but accelerate the growth of both offices. She has become the most knowledgeable about dental insurance, credentialing, chart auditing, appeals, and coding. Her background in clinical dentistry, dependability, and thorough work ethic make her a perfect fit for our Lead Insurance and Front Office Coordinator at Battle Ground, and now the Office Manager at Camas! She is well-loved at both offices and we are so happy to have her as a leader of the pack.

Patient Care Coordinator
Our sweet and cheerful employee, Sasha graduated from the dental assisting program at Cascadia Technical Academy in 2022. Soon after she finished her dental assisting program, she realized that she enjoyed working at the front desk better and became a Patient Care Coordinator quickly thereafter. She is new to our company and is helping us to launch the Salmon Creek office, but she’s already proven herself to be so self-motivated and caring and Tooth Docs is so lucky to have her on our team! Sasha is fluent in Russian and enjoys watching sunsets, going on beautiful hikes, and cuddling her cat, Zhorik.
Katie
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Katie came back to dentistry after taking a break from the field to help us open Tooth Docs in September of 2021! She has one of our favorite hire stories, because she was originally one of Dr. Lenz’s patients. While chatting at one of her appointments, Dr. Lenz told her that if she ever wanted to come back to dentistry, she would have a spot waiting for her. A few months later, Katie showed up, resume-in-hand. She received her diploma in Dental Assisting from Arizona College in 2014. Patients appreciate her outgoing personality and ability to connect with them and help them understand their treatment. In her free time she enjoys rock climbing with her husband and two children. She graduated from Portland Community College and received her certification to place fillings as a Restorative Assistant alongside one of our other assistants, Tiffany. Katie helped us start our Battle Ground location, but now works full time at the Camas location.

Annabelle graduated from the Pacific Northwest Dental Assisting School recently in October of 2023. She has always had a passion for the dental field since she was young and she is so happy to finally have that dream come true working for us at Tooth Docs! Before graduating and coming to work with us, Annabelle was a stay-at-home mom to her cute son, Kohen! She loves being a mother to him and says that every day is an adventure raising him. She also has a black lab named Charlie. She likes to spend her free time with family and friends, listening to country music and enjoying photography.
